Unitree Robotics Foresees a ‘ChatGPT Moment’ for Robotics

During his address at the conference, Wang Xingxing, founder of the recently IPO’d Chinese company Unitree Robotics, projected that mass adoption of humanoid robots is approximately a decade away. Xingxing emphasized the need for a ‘ChatGPT moment’ in robotics—a transformative breakthrough that would fundamentally alter the perception and capabilities of these devices, paving the way for widespread integration.
