Extensive GTA VI Leaks Continue

The highly anticipated open-world crime action game, Grand Theft Auto VI, developed by British studio Rockstar Games, has once again been subjected to significant gameplay leaks. Over the past 24 hours, two separate incidents have seen the release of game footage and a portion of the game’s map. These leaks originate from an activist or group identifying themselves as Cyberleek, self-proclaimed “gamer rights fighters.”

Cyberleek’s Motivation and Future Intentions

A manifesto accompanying the initial leak outlined Cyberleek’s motivations. The group asserts that it will not cease its activities until Rockstar Games and publisher Take-Two Interactive issue apologies and commit to improvements. These actions appear to be an attempt to exert pressure on the game’s developers and publisher.

Leak Details and Take-Two’s Response

The first leak included two gameplay segments and a partial map of the game world. The second leak, occurring less than 24 hours later, showcased night gameplay and revealed additional details about the project. Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar Games, is actively responding to the dissemination of these leaks by implementing measures to block and remove the content from public access. These events unfold ahead of a highly anticipated extended showcase for the game, further escalating the tension surrounding the project.
