Google Removes Ozon Apps from Play Store

Google has delisted applications from the Ozon ecosystem, one of Russia’s largest e-commerce platforms, from its official Play Store. This action impacts all services associated with the company. While new downloads are no longer possible via the Play Store, previously installed versions of Ozon apps continue to function normally on user devices. Android users can still access and download Ozon applications through alternative distribution platforms.

Availability on Other Platforms and Company Stance

Currently, Ozon’s applications remain available for download on the Apple App Store. Representatives from Ozon have stated that their services are not subject to any international sanctions, leaving the official reason for their removal from Google Play unspecified.
