While increased memory production is certainly welcome given current shortages, I can’t help but wonder about the long-term sustainability and potential oversupply risks if too many fabs come online simultaneously. Also, are we sufficiently scrutinizing the environmental impact and resource demands of building and operating another massive fabrication plant, especially concerning water and energy consumption? These are significant investments with substantial implications.
