AMD Expands FSR 4.1 Upscaling Support to Radeon RX 7000 GPUs
AMD has officially rolled out its FSR 4.1 upscaling technology to the Radeon RX 7000 series graphics cards, which are built on the RDNA 3 architecture. This crucial update comes with the release of the latest graphics driver package, Radeon Software Adrenalin 26.6.2 WHQL.
Future Expansion to Integrated Graphics
Previously, FSR 4.1 support was exclusively available for the Radeon RX 9000 series, which utilizes the RDNA 4 architecture. AMD has now confirmed its intentions to further broaden the technology’s reach, with plans to incorporate support for integrated graphics processors based on both RDNA 3 and RDNA 3.5 architectures. This move aims to deliver enhanced image upscaling capabilities to a wider audience of AMD hardware users.
